Kodak Hero 7.1 named best printer of 2012

01 March 2012

The all-in-one unit was said to be great for photographers and praised for its versatility and cost-effectiveness.

Each year PC Advisor looks over every bit of kit and software that has passed through its testing lab over the preceding 12 months and names the top pieces of equipment.

The runners up in the Best Printer category were Brother's HL-2130, Canon's LBP7750Cdn, the Epson WP-4535DWF and Kyocera Mita's FS-1320D.

"All models in the Hero range benefit from built-in Wi-Fi and extremely low running costs, but we think the 7.1 is the best option for home photo printing," PC Advisor said.

"If photographs are important to you, this all-in-one is the printer you need to pick, and it won’t cost you a fortune to run."

You can pick the 7.1 up for less than £140 and as usual we are here to help when it comes to buying your ink cartridges.
