Brother International has announced the launch of its latest series of printers- the Business Smart Series colour inkjet all-in-ones.
Far smaller and sleeker than their previous all-in-ones, the Business Smart Series boasts low cost printing at speeds faster than any other printers in its class.
The new range also offers an easy-to-use touch screen to allow users to programme their printer with ease.
In order to create this smaller, more efficient printer Brother went back to the drawing board. One of the most fundamental changes was the move from portrait printing to landscape printing- essentially, the paper prints the other way around. This meant the paper could be stored in a far more space-efficient way and documents could in fact be printed faster.
In order to achieve this, Brother created a new engine and increases the size of the print heads to speed up the printing process.
The new series of printers can connect to the internet and can print via Google Cloud Print, Brother iPrint&Scan, Wi-Fi Direct and Cortado Workplace.
The MFC-J4510DW is the first printer in this new line and is expected to hit stores in the US this autumn and will be heading across the pond shortly after.
